The Effect is somehow interesting, but i prefer bright colors and high contrasts. I looked in your .psd and all i can say, you dont have to make that much gradient maps, Hue/Saturations, Coloroverlays... I tested it by my self and all i needed was 1 gradient map, 1 photofilter and one contrast reduction and i got pretty much the same effect.
Dont see it as criticism, everybody has his/her own ways to do things in photoshop, but you cannot only improve your skills also your expenditure of time.
look , i'm not that pro in psd effects i'm kinda good at it , and like you've said , every1 has his own way to do his effects the way he want it . but i'm myself , found the result good , anyway , thanks for the tip dear
